A fabulous and challenging project to design a brand new modular range of nursery play equipment for Playdale Playgrounds.  Delivering concept sketches to full production drawings this was an exciting and open brief.  Being a new market for Playdale it required thought and research so we interviewed Child Psychologists to gain an insights into children’s play, a fascinating exercise.

Learning how children played both alone and in groups and what they were physically capable of at the target age. It was a hugely insightful during the design process.  It certainly challenged assumptions and led to a form language that allows a  child’s mind to be creative and let their imaginations run free.
